Hosted by Electric Blue, we welcome you to join us at this exciting forum in Newcastle, along with a fantastic range of the industry’s most knowledgeable key speakers. There are still places remaining, so make sure you reserve your spot now by emailing: email@example.com
The forum will take place at the Intu Eldon Square, in central Newcastle, Wednesday 23rd January, at 9.45am - 3.00pm. It is fully funded by Electric Blue and free to attend.
“Driving The Uptake Of Electric Vehicles” will cover all aspects of electric vehicles (EVs), including:
- EV charging infrastructure
- EV strategies
- Uptake of Ultra Low Emissions Vehicles
- Programmes to assist taxis and fleets to convert to electric
- Discussions around Clean Air Zones and Geofencing
- Electric Blue Electrify campaigns, currently being piloted by Watford Council
After a midday coffee break, there will be two in-depth workshops, covering the specific topics of:
- “What are the barriers preventing uptake of EVs and how do you overcome them?”
- “Future developments - what we have today and future predictions”
Following on from the successes of our recent forums in York and Manchester, we were requested to host a similar event in the North East. Around 40 local authorities were represented at both previous events and we are expecting the same level of interest in Newcastle.
At our previous forums, we were delighted to host key speakers from OLEV, DEFRA, JAQU, ECOstars, Leeds City Council, plus Cllr Lynne Short from Dundee City Council, and Marcus Halliwell from IKEA, and are even more delighted that they will be joining us again in Newcastle. Additionally, we are pleased to welcome Kim Farrage from NECA, and Sukky Choongh-Campbell from SMMT.
Refreshments, lunch and plenty of networking opportunities will all be included. EV demo vehicles will also be on-site to demonstrate what is currently available on the EV market.
This forum promises to be a valuable exercise for all who attend, with plenty of helpful, practical information available from EV experts. Gather knowledge, and gain understanding of how to bring your EV goals to life, with hints and tips to assist all your strategy and infrastructure needs.
We are inviting all local authorities within NECA, TVCA, Cumbria and Scotland, along with other councils from across the region, so please do share this information.
We look forward to welcoming you on the 23rd January!
