Lambert Smith Hampton, Leavesden Park - Workplace charging and eVent day - Electric Vehicle awareness

Lambert Smith Hampton are a commercial property management consultancy and are the managing agents for Leavesden Business Park, which is attached to the home of Warner Bros. Studio and Harry Potter Tours.

Project Scope

The project involved the management of a dual output workplace charger in the staff car park at 6, Hercules Way, the provision of remote support, and billing of all EV drivers among the tenants on the business park for their EV energy use.

Campaign

Our Solution

As part of the launch, Electric Blue organised and facilitated an EV awareness day where the latest range of EVs on the market and information around charging and registering were promoted to the staff. This included easy to follow procedures for using the chargers and registering for an RFID card. Exhibitors included Nissan, BMW, Tesla, Renault, Volvo and Mercedes.

What was achieved?

The LSH site manager is provided with quarterly reports showing the on-site energy supplied, revenue generated and emissions saved.

At the end of 2017, we provided a summary report to the site manager which showed 1,609.96 kWh total energy supplied which powered 5,634.86 miles (assumes 3.5 miles/kWh).

Next steps

A site survey is underway with a view to installing the next round of chargers for future proofing.
