Latest project launch: Herts 2025

Herts 2025 is an initiative aimed at delivering significant air quality improvements in Hertfordshire towns by increasing the uptake of zero emission electric vehicles (EVs) within the taxi industry. The initiative is addressing the market failure surrounding the lack of information and awareness of the benefits, availability and capabilities of EVs - The initiative has been supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) Programme 2014-2020.

Invest in clean air with Electric Blue’s innovative finance bond, in partnership with Ethex.

We are super-charged here at Electric Blue as our innovative finance bond has been extended until June 30th, inviting investors to put their money behind clean air and sustainable solutions.

Cambridge’s ambition is to electrify the city’s taxi fleets and Electric Blue is delighted to be working with local partners to help this goal be realised. With 20 e-taxis already licensed on the roads of Cambridge and the six chargers we’ve already installed delivering a whopping 98, 014 emission-free miles (that’s enough to drive a return trip from Cambridge to Cape Town five times!), now is the time to plug into this investment opportunity. You can read how here or go direct to our bond profile on Ethex.

Electric Blue and you

Electric Blue works in partnership with you to bring cleaner air and healthier futures to our communities. Our passion lies in providing practical solutions to fit your needs, through integrated charger and electric vehicle services, powered by renewable energy.

I am delighted to welcome the #ElectricRevolution to our District. The rapid charging point is an exciting addition to the ten electric charging points already available around the District.

Cllr Gill Clark (Deputy Mayor, St Albans City & District Council)

This project comes at zero cost to taxpayers and replaces the two chargers installed in 2011 and so doubles the capacity at each site.
